It's been awhile

I know it's been awhile since I was here on this site. Thought I'd fill you in. Jeremy had some problems when he first got to boot but has seem to have gotten thru them. It is only 10 more days till he PIR's. I am getting soooo excited to see him again. His girlfriend just PIR'd this past friday.I am so proud of her. Jer leaves today

Went down to see Jeremy swear in today. It was so awesome. The Navy officer that was getting the group prepared before the Army officer came in invited me to watch from the front of the room up where he was. Jer was in the back of the room though. I managed to get thru it with out causing a scene. The officer who swore them in talk to the different recruits and to us family members individually. Jer is still waiting at the airport with several others to leave.

But then they talked about germany and hawaii too so I am not sure where he is going to end up. But I do know what we are most likely going to do but I think it will be better if he tells you that.

We just dropped off our 13 yr old son for orientation/bootcamp for the Navy Sea Cadets. He will be there for a week and then we go back for graduation and to pick him up. He has never been this far away from home or Momma for this long! Please pray for me!!! It was so hard not driving the extra 3 hrs to see Stephen in Jacksonville! Our other son, Josh, who is 15 will be going to his 2 week bootcamp for Sea Cadets next month- the 27th thru Aug 9th. He will also be at Whiting Field in Florida. Hooray! We leave the 18th of next month to go to Stephen's graduation on the 21st. Alot is going on this summer with our boys! I will try to post some picts of Micah in his Sea Cadet uniform as soon as I can!

At 10:28pm on June 1, 2008, Karla Duncan - Administrator said…: Hey Chris, How are things going- great I hope. I saw that your son left May 29th-I will be praying. Keep me informed. Stephen came home on the 23rd and left going back to Jacksonville on the 26th. We got to spend the most part of the weekend with him and had a blast at his celebration & birthday party. He found out on the 22nd he had passed his Petty Officer 3rd class test and showed us his patches when we had dinner the night he came home. We are looking forward to going down in July to see him graduate "C" school, but right now we're focussing on getting our two youngest boys off to sea cadet bootcamp. One goes June 8 to 14th and the other goes July 27 to Aug 9 and of course, Stephen will graduate in the middle on July 21st. All 3 events will take place in Florida, so we will be making 3 trips to Florida between now and the first week of August! It makes my head spin to think about it! As if my life weren't busy enough with 4 kids at home and 1 in Florida and a husband and full time job!!! HaHa
