Alabama Navy Moms Luncheon at Superior Grill on Highway 280

- I am 40 yrs old and I am a mother to five beautiful children. I have been married to the same wonderful man for 24 years. Our oldest son, Stephen is in the Navy at NAS Jacksonville in Florida. He is our hero! We are very proud of him and his accomplishments as a United States Sailor. Our oldest daughter, Alicia, is an artist by nature! She is so talented! Our middle son, Joshua, and our youngest son, Micah, are both very electronically inclined- they get it from their dad! They help out with running sound and video at our church, Landmark Lighthouse Assembly of God in Gardendale, AL. Both Joshua and Micah recently joined the US Navy Sea Cadets Program and are associated with the Valor Division which is in our area. Our youngest daughter, AnnaMarie is our prissy! She loves Hanna Montana! My father served in the Army and in the Army Reserves for many years and my father-in-law was in the Navy for several years. I have a brother-in-law that is serving in the Alabama Army National Guard currently which I am very proud of. He has already completed one deployment to Iraq and is currently training other soldiers that may have to go. I also have a brother-in-law who served for 10 plus years in the Air Force before his discharge. Hopefully this will give you a glimpse into who I am and why I created this site! Oh and one more thing - Go Navy!!!

Naval Sea Cadet Program
Hey everyone, in addition to having one son in the US Navy, we now have two more who are in the Navy Sea Cadet program. One is 15 and one is 12 and they are both in Valor Division out of Leeds, AL. We are so proud of all of our boys!

My oldest grandson will be graduating from Army bootcamp at the end of the month and my second oldest grandson will be going in next week sometime for the Navy. I am new to doing things on the computer so I stumble around a bit trying to figure out what I am doing. I am so glad that there are groups out here for parents and grandparents of these wonderful young people who are there to help protect this wonderful country of ours. My other grandsons are 11 and 5, my granddaughters are 10 and 16. God Bless our servicemen and women . Carmen

Natalie said… - Oh it was SO much fun! We got about 3 hours on base after graduation and then 3 more hours at the airport. Then he called early the next morning to say he had liberty until Sunday night so Mrs. Sharon and I drove donw to spend Sunday with him. It was so great! Thanks for all you help through this!
